Holidays to Asia was founded with a single conviction: that the over-50s market was being badly served. Large coach tours move too fast, generic itineraries miss the best parts, and nobody seemed to understand that discerning travellers want genuine access — not just comfort.
What we believe
Travel should feel generous, not rushed
We specialise in private escorted and small-group tours across twelve Asian destinations — Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Bali, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Cambodia, China, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Every itinerary is built around three principles: honest pacing, genuine private access, and hotels chosen for character rather than category.
Our specialists have spent years living and working in Asia. They have stayed in every ryokan on our Japan programme, ridden every stretch of the Sri Lanka hill-country train, and know which guide at Angkor Wat understands Khmer architecture deeply enough to make it genuinely come alive. That knowledge is what separates us from tour operators who sell Asia from a spreadsheet.
We are based in London and our specialists can be reached six days a week. Every tour is ATOL protected. We have been operating without interruption since 2009.
